Guide Latifa Asselouf personally chooses the muleteers who will go trekking with you. They are trustworthy and very experienced. In most cases, it is Latifa who will cook for you - but the tea is often prepared by Hamid ;-)

Services

We offer a selection of guided afternoon walks through the surrounding area or day trips deeper into more remote locations. We will answer all your enquiries and meet all your needs.

Level : Easy - Two hours walking. If you want to immerse yourselves in the real life of a Moroccan town, unspoiled by mass tourism and nestled in beautiful surroundings, this walk is for you. We will visit a potter, a bakery and have tea with a berber family. On Tuesday, we may visit the souk (Berber market).

Level : Easy - Three/Four hours walking. After a quick visit to a potter in the village, we will walk deeper in the mountain to a small Berber village among the High Atlas range. We will visit a family and share a tajine with them. If you like, you can enjoy temporary henna tattoo or Berber eye's khol (Kohl is an ancient eye cosmetic, traditionally made by grinding galena - lead sulfide - and other ingredients). We will return to Amizmiz on a different trail and enjoy a thyme tea on the way home.

Level : Medium - 2 x 6 hours walking. While appreciating the spectacular views and steady climb, you will find yourself among stunning greenery, red-earth hills and pine forests.

We can customise any trek according to your needs and ability. Do you want to climb Mount Toubkal at a height of 4167m? Or cross the Atlas from Amizmiz to Ouarzazate? From 2-day trek up to a 10-day adventure, we can provide you with a complete package including meals and muleteers. We will give you a precise cost estimate without any extra surprises. If you are not an experienced trekker and you are unsure of your ability, you can always start with a one day trek so that we may evaluate your abilities.
